Male - Maldives

Just back from Male..

Happy. Was kinda glad I didnt report sick nor did I change away this flight. My first time there & I didnt regret it at all.

Nice colleagues, great company, nt-so-nice fd, fantastic view, scorching hot sun & "comfortable load". Hee

It was an experience to go to the resort by a mini yacht. Or shl I say, a big boat with shelter. NO aircon! OMG! Haha. I will suggest to just stand outside instead of sitting indoors. Dun worry,Its ok if u cant swim, cos I cant too! I cld c an "orange moon" n lots stars. Yes! Its beautiful. Other than that, I doubt u can c the rest of the surroundings. Hee..

It was abt 15mins ride n I'm feeling sticky! Yucks! & I tink the hotel pple knows cos we're all give towels to freshen up n surprise! A welcome drink too! Was too tired to take photos thou. Lets wait for Sean, our GS photographer to send me the pics.

Hmmm, relaxing place so expect "relax service" k? Got wat I meant?

*Freak out* It was kinda dark on our way to our rooms.

I like the layout of the rooms thou.
13 of us r all stayin together in a U shape compound.

I like the the dome shape kind of room too. But we do nt get the privilage to stay there! HmmP! HAha.. Its ok. My room no is 323. I like it cos its my birthdate as well. Hee. I like the room 2. Its kinda big. I meant the toilet. There is a bath tub, shower place, HUGE cupboard. HAha.. Due to superstitious reason, i took the photos only b4 we chk out. Hee.. Wait till I learn photoshop then I link all photos together b4 I upload.

Capt suggested for a drink immed after we check in. I insisted on bathing first. Haha.. Join them shortly. I was wearing like those aunt gg for "marketing". OMG! I tot casual mah. So in my shorts, spag top n slippers. HAha.. By the time we gt back to Zzzz, it was alr 4am sin time.

I cldnt sleep again! Faint. End up with only 3 hrs of rest cos we'll be meeting up at 9am (Male time GMT +5). Thanks for the wake up call Sean :)

The beach is BEAUTIFUL n the water is so so so clear. Oh!! N the sun! OMG! Worst than sin sun can! HAha.. Alot of caucasianz there thou. HAha.. Some tan naked! (Of course with the back facing us, def not the front!)

Water was crystal clear... But it doesnt seems like there r fishes. I was kinda disappointed cos I tot u need to swim to the end to c them. I was wrong! U just need to throw breadrolls! All fishes will come to u in no time. S**T! Sean n Francis kept throwing the bread at me n all fishes come to me! *RUN* HAha.. Let me show u how scary the fishes r -->

By 11am plus, I cannot take the sun anymore. I'm almost burnt! Anyway, its an excuse cos i'm hungrY! Y isnt any1 felt the hunger?! HmmP! HAha..Went back to bath 1st cos there is no way to find a shelter for me to hide n wait for them. Wah lao aye. Waited for abt 1.5 hrs for them .Thank goddness I meant LimC Capt, if nt I sure lose my way to the restaurant. Thanks Capt!

The day is short. After lunch, we went to c the sharks (Errm, mini ones of course) then went back to rest. I saw pple on banana boats n .. Errm.. nt sure wats the sport call. Anyway, water sport is kinda active there. Thanks for the company, Vivi, Yvonne, Karansa, Capt LimC, Francis, Julian, Sean, SanJay. Group photo will be uploaded shortly if photographer Sean send me the photos immed. HAha..

Vivi! I'm still impressed on yr platform shoes! HAha.. But yr dress realli nice ah. I tink next time i wld wear dress. Hee...
Come back to sin alr. Midnite again. Yawnz. HAppy that I manage to catch some sleep.

Some pts to note:

- Bring along a bedroom slipper. I dont like the floorings in my room. Cold n sandy

- Bring plaster. Definately get cut. POor Francis.

- Uses USD, however, dun accept coins. If nt, just sign CC.

- NO need to bring cash wherever u go. All can sign to room.

- "Bring" breadrolls to feed fishes.

- SUN BLOCK! SPF50!

- Bring magazines, towels n water to the beach k? Cos I walk back in my bikini, 4gt abt my towels

- Bring more body wash + shampoo. I bath 5 times a day cos its 2 sticky!

- NO TIPPing needed. Nt 'popular' there

- Room key cost USD35. Pls do NOT lose it. *Stress*

- Buy fridge magnets when gg back to SIN. Cos it'll be closed when we first reach Male.

- Dont bring too heavy cabin bag. U'll need to climb down the steps. NO aerobridge. NO joke :)
