I love London

Hmmm, ok. Not so much of London actually.
But compared to SIN, London makes me feel more comfy.

At least the pple here keeps to the right on the escalators and doesnt hog on to the left side.
N guys doesnt cut queue when u r boarding the train and even offer any lady the empty seat before he seat down.

I did something good today.
I saw a mum with 2 young children, a pram and a skator.
She was carrying the pram down the stairs towards the train station leaving the kids on its own! OMG! I freak out when I c it la. Wat if they go down the steps or walk away themselves?
I stayed and tok to them till the mum is back.
Faint. She only hold on to the boy's hand while going down the steps cos the other hand was holding to the skator. I c already I freak out again. I volunteered to hold the little girl hands and waited with them till the train is here.
I felt good after helping them.

Know what? Its normal here in London that pple do help each other.
I saw a mum tryin to carry the pram with the baby sleeping inside up the stairs.
Before I can help, a man beside me already offered his. How cool.
I cannot imagine if this happen in SIN.

A Datok wanna treat me n my colleagues to a meal in London.
He is just being nice and sincerly just wanna take us out for a meal. I didnt join them.
I just dun like the feeling of me owing pple something..
Although he can jolly well afford it - no doubt.
I met my colleagues today and they were toking abt the lunch treat.
9 of them went and the estimated total bills is abt 800 Pounds (Ard S$2000 or more)
Faint. N he brought some gals to shopping and sent them back to the hotel.
Hmm.. They seems so proud and happy abt it. For me, I wld never do such things.

I do love the shopping here too. I've spent around $300 the first day and $150 the 2nd day. Just on shopping. Not much of my stuff. I bought winter wear for my parents and some lingerie for myself. I love it.

Food is expensive here. I spent abt $80 for a duck rice meal - 2 person.
Have u eaten such expensive duck rice? But I have to say this - Its good.

Good company, Good food, Good shopping, Not-So-Expensive Internet = Happy me.

One thing I hate is the beds. I have 2 singles. I just cannot stand single bed.
N one more is the tap water. No matter how long u take to wash yrself. It still seems soapy.
Its the water. ArrggH!

Oh! I almost forgot to mention about my fav sandwich joint - Pret a Manger.
I bought a sandwich for $8 and a mushroom riosotto soup for $8 too. A simple breakfast like this cost me $16. Anyway, I tink its worth it cos they uses fresh and "healthy" ingredients for their food :)

I love London.
Anyway, I have to love London - NO Choice. Hee..

I rememebered I have got more things to do. It just slip my mind now.
