Fine-dining in Paris with Agnes

This meal was an unexpected one.
I got out from the wrong side of bed that day.

I remembered I woke up with a nightmare in the morning.
I dine in for breakfast then decided to go out to pack lunch at the infamous mussels joint, Leon.

Bad news is, they dun have take away :(
Hence I decide to go further down the road to buy yummy pastries to satisfy my sweet tooth!
It was a 15mins walk when I finally got there n it was C-L-O-S-E-D!
Whatever.
Thats not all.
It started to rain on my way home. Aiyoo...

Everything ended when I met someone familiar at the lobby! Hee..
So co-incident!!!! Agnes was getting out from the lift when I was abt to go in.
She suggested to go for dinner at Bistro-Saint Ferdinand.
N there we are at 7pm!!

Although its a small restaurant along the streets, I was kinda impressed when I went in.
I like the chandelier and the "black" theme.

I oso love the rose on the table and the welcome sweet wine!

Pardon me for not making up and the specs.
Cos, this restaurant is just afew mins walk from my hotel and..
Errm.. I'm just plain lazy. HAHAHA..

Pretty babe~ Agnes!!
Love her company!
Table setup..
It was kinda packed anyway.
The 4 course dinner with a bottle of complimentary wine for two.

Ok, Another pic first before our food come!

I wld say its special cos the Foie Gras is not in its patties form.
Its rolled into a ball.
Good!
Next, My Main Course.
Dos de Bar, Sauce Vierge, Puree a I'Hule d'Olive Extra-Vierge.
Grilled back of Bass, Potato Puree flavoured with Olive Oil.

First time I finish up the fish with the skin cos its soooo crispy and yummy!
Oh! N the "mash potato"! Yummylicious!
Agnes's main course is....
Medallions de Veau au Parmigiano, Pates Italienres.
~ Veal Medallion with Parmigiano, Italian Pasta.

I love the Parmigiano on top of the beef! Its like cheese. Super good!

Although I am sooooo full! But I will definitely not miss my favorite part of the 4 course dinner~Desserts!!!

Its not terribly sweet.
The sweetness is just right and I love the sugar crust on top!
Chocolate Profiterloes!
Normally the choco profiterloes I had always had creme in between but this time its different.
Its ice cream! OMG! Soooo good!

We end off a wonderful dinner with a cup of tea.

Everything was good.
Company (Agnes) was superb.
Food was yummylicious.
Service was so-so.
But the 2 man beside us was irritating. HAha..

I love the dinner and there's still afew more dishes I wanna try.
I wanna go Paris again~ Just bcos of the dinner.

Of course, I wan good company as well.
What's good food without good company?
